What parts of the receiver are composed

The receiver operates by first capturing the RF signal from the antenna and then amplifying it using a low noise amplifier (LNA) to minimize signal degradation. After amplification, the RF signal is downconverted to a lower intermediate frequency (IF) before demodulation. This process helps in improving signal clarity and reducing interference. Both the direct wave received from the upper and lower antennas, as well as the multipath signals arriving through various propagation paths, pass through two identical signal processing channels. Each channel includes a bandpass filter to remove unwanted frequencies, followed by the LNA for further amplification. Then, a mirror filter suppresses image frequencies, and the signal is processed by a frequency converter and a pre-amplifier. Finally, the signals from both channels are combined, and after passing through the main intermediate frequency amplifier, the resulting modulated IF signal is outputted for further processing or decoding. This design ensures robust reception even in complex environments with significant multipath effects.
