A domestic LED lamp exported to the Czech Republic was recalled due to quality problems

Just recently, the European Commission’s rapid alert system for non-food products, known as RAPEX, issued a recall notice for LED lights manufactured in China. This specific recall was reported by the Czech Republic. The affected product is branded under LUMENIX and is called the GU10 LED LAMP. In the OECD Portal, it falls under category 78000000, which pertains to electrical goods. Upon investigation, it was found that these LED lamps have a design flaw that makes them prone to looseness and potential leakage issues. As a result, they do not meet the safety standards set by the EU, particularly the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant EN62560 standard. I managed to find two images of the recalled product. The first image shows the front view of the lamp, while the second gives a clearer look at its base. Unfortunately, I can't directly embed the images here, but you can easily search for them online using their respective file names: "1501483082236545.jpg" and "1501483096539474.jpg." For those interested in learning more about this topic or other similar alerts, feel free to visit the official RAPEX website or check out the OECD Portal for detailed information on product recalls. It's always important to ensure that any electrical devices we purchase comply with international safety standards to prevent accidents.
