T-Mobile and Nortel announce the completion of LTE mobility test

Nortel and T-Mobile have announced the completion of LTE mobility testing. This cooperation makes T-Mobile officially the first telecom operator in the world to successfully demonstrate next-generation mobile network (Next GeneraTIon Mobile Networks, referred to as NGMN) communication, through the advanced performance of long-term evolution (LTE) technology, to provide realistic Mobile network in an environment.

T-Mobile's mobile vehicle connection test in Bonn, Germany, uses LTE technology to enable high-speed vehicles on a 4-km test track between the Deutsche Telekom headquarters on the left bank of the Rhine and the T-Mobile headquarters on the right bank. Perform data transfer. In the course of this test, in addition to no network interruption or poor quality, smooth transmission can be performed even between different base stations. This means that T-Mobile already has the necessary conditions to achieve future mobile communications.

This successful live test is a big step forward for T-Mobile to realize the vision of NGMN. The network tested this time is made up of the multi-base station end-to-end solution deployed by Nortel, and the terminal equipment in the mobile vehicle is provided by LG Electronics.

T-Mobile had this year's CeBIT to demonstrate its innovative leadership in NGMN. Participants can experience the high-definition (HD) audio and video transmission speeds of up to 50Mbit / s and 170Mbit / s, which are almost instantaneously transmitted on the T-Mobile live demonstration. The next goal of T-Mobile is to conduct network application tests with high bandwidth and low network latency requirements, and to realize the mobile transmission of HDTV, HD video or online games in a real environment.

At the completion of this test, Nortel and LG Electronics also recently announced the completion of the world's first live demonstration of LTE mobile delivery technology. Through the advanced LTE mobile device provided by LG Electronics, Nortel uses the LTE network to transmit high-definition (HD) video and audio streams in an environment where the travel speed is up to 100 kilometers per hour and continuous movement between network coverage sites. The LTE commercialization process expected to be completed by the end of 2009 lays a more solid foundation.

PCB Classify--can be considered as single-sided (one copper layer) board, double-sided (two copper layers on both sides of one substrate layer)board, or multi-layer(three copper layers or more) board. Multi-layer PCBs allow for much higher component density because circuit traces on the inner layers would otherwise take up surface space between components. The rise in popularity of multilayer PCBs with more than two, and especially with more than four, copper planes was concurrent with the adoption of Surface Mount Technology
