Foshan Gaoming District will install more than 100,000 LED lights before the end of next year

It is reported that the work of popularizing LED lighting in public places such as roads in Foshan Gaoming District is progressing smoothly. Relevant statistics from the Gaoming District Economic Promotion Bureau show that about 2,000 LED lights have been replaced this year, focusing on the renovation of LED lights in urban main roads and inner street roadways, which will be fully rolled out next year. According to preliminary statistics, Gaoming District will install more than 100,000 LED lights in roads and other fields before the end of next year.

Gaoming District promotes the application of LED lighting products in various public areas of the jurisdiction, including high-pressure sodium lamp renovation projects on roads such as Gaoming Avenue; renovation of road lamps and inner street lights in major urban areas and towns and streets; major cultural and sports facilities, venue lighting Landscape lighting renovation project in engineering and cultural squares, parks, stations and other places. According to the previous “Golden Lighting District Implementation Plan for Promoting the Use of LED Lighting Products”, Gaoming District will fully popularize LED lighting in public places such as roads before the end of 2013.

Wenhua Road in the downtown area is one of the roads where LED lights have been replaced. The reporter saw at the scene that each streetlight in the main lane has two lamps of 9 meters high and 6 meters high, illuminating the main driveway and the sidewalk. Compared with the previous low garden lights, the LED lights have greatly improved the lighting effect of the entire Wenhua Road.

In addition to Wenhua Road, the current main roads such as Yuehua Road and Qijiang Road in the urban area have completed the replacement of LED lights, and some inner streets have also installed LED lights.

The operation of Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGVs) requires high utilization of these vehicles in order to achieve an optimum of profitability. Often, recharge of the batteries which are required for the drive of the AGVs, presents a problem.

The development of powerful batteries, which allow for quick recharge within seconds, enables the integration of charging contacts into the production cycle without removing the AGVs from the production process.

Battery charging stations may be installed anywhere within the system where the production process allows the AGV to stop (staging areas, turn arounds, loading stops etc.).
