These oscillators are engineered with low phase noise and minimal clutter performance, making them ideal for applications such as radar systems, frequency generation, and signal transmission.
The new PLO family is well-suited for use in phase-locked loops, frequency synthesizers, function generators, and local oscillator sources in both receivers and transmitters. One notable feature is the support for an external frequency reference, which enhances flexibility and precision in various system designs.
Available in 20 different models, this product line offers six commonly used fixed output frequencies: 50 MHz, 100 MHz, 500 MHz, 1 GHz, 2 GHz, 4 GHz, and 6 GHz. Each unit delivers outstanding performance, including a phase noise level of -105 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset, a buffered output power of +7 dBm, and low second harmonic and clutter suppression levels of -25 dBc and -70 dBc, respectively. Additionally, these oscillators include an external frequency reference input (10 MHz or 100 MHz) and a TTL lockout detection output to alert users when a loss of lock occurs.
All models are RoHS compliant and operate reliably across a wide temperature range, from -30°C to +70°C. They can be powered by a single DC positive voltage supply and are available in SMA connector and small surface mount packages. The SMA version features a nickel-plated housing with DC bias and signal pins, along with an integrated mounting backplane. The surface mount package includes a gold-clad nickel mounting surface and a downloadable Gerber file for optimized layout design.
Designed for durability, these oscillators meet MIL-STD-202 shock and vibration test requirements, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
