These are bought with money, and later I have my first pseudo nas - Seagate go flexhome 2t, this storage device has a certain nas Function, such as ftp, smb, etc., I mainly use its backup function, comes with backup software is also good, can automatically scan the settings folder and automatic incremental backup, but only one disk backup is not stable when ah, in case of disk It was completely broken, so I made a backup on Baidu Cloud, and the 2m upload was desperate, but I had to wait until I moved to my new home. Since I had done an audiovisual room, Seagate's flexhome could not meet my needs. The most important thing is that we can't download bt or pt. It's also a coincidence that when I was in need, I went to Taiwan with my family to travel around. When I was in Taipei, I came back with an authentic NAS back. Hui 414j, why Why buy low-end products, because I do not have high hardware performance requirements, usually mainly for storage, download movies, store photos, do not play any virtual machine, so the high-end models are not temptation to me, but later use me Some of them changed my mind, because my photos are many, there are more than 100,000. After I set up the index, this machine has not stopped, has been a high cpu share of power to index files, almost indexed half Month, and later into a hard drive, I want to shr mode, because the basic basic mode used before, there is no backup, and only the first backup of the data and then re-indexing, but also a painful wait, but fortunately, In the index period is also able to operate nas, and there is no multi-card, but also can increase the download task, it seems that Synology can automatically adjust the task priority and cpu occupancy rate, this way the user experience will not lose too much.
Next to the computer is the 414j. It was moved to the desktop to lift it more scientifically that day. . 
Behind Seagate 5t and AC68U 
Now my nas also has only 3 disks, and the shh mode that comes with Synology is equivalent to the improved version of raid1. It can have a fault-tolerant disk, so that the data is not easily lost and the space can be used to the maximum extent. 3 hard disks use 2 pieces of space, which is still good.
Many images and videos index will be very time-consuming 
It didn't last long. When I switched to the shr mode, it was not long before the No. 2 hard disk reported I/O errors on the I/O. My first reaction was that there was a bad track, but at this time the group of Hui did not issue a warning. Can continue to use, I do not trust or choose to repair, because my hard drive is Jingdong to buy, after sale is also very good, the error picture upload and apply for sales, the next day there is customer service contact me directly for the new block 4t red disk, just when I just recovered a good 2nd hard drive, it was not long before the 3rd hard drive again reported input and output errors, I was a bit silent, Jingdong 4t red disk is this quality? However, it is 999 in the No. 1 hard disk is currently asymptomatic, is it bad luck? With previous experience, customer service and contact me soon, very politely asked me just changed the hard disk is broken, ah, I explained that this is another piece, does Jingdong not rely on the serial number after the sale? Then I can change the same model hard drive a few years ago.

Here I talk about the steps to replace the hard disk in the shr mode, it is very simple:
1. Shut down and remove the hard disk that needs to be replaced, because if one hard disk is lost and then turned on, the status as shown in the figure below will be used and an alarm will appear. If you continue reading and writing, it may cause irreversible consequences.
2. Put a new hard disk and turn it on. After entering the system, Synology will not automatically use the replaced hard disk to recover. It must be manually operated. The operation method is as follows:
Open the "Storage Manager", select "Storage" on the left, and then click "Manage" above. A window will pop up for you to choose. We choose to "fix" the point next. 
Eject disk selection, because the system only has to be added to the number 3 hard disk is not used, so the default is to choose it. 
Then, the system begins to recover, and the data consistency check also consumes a lot of time. I'll probably forget that a 4t disk needs to be restored for about 35 hours, so everyone should also pray that the other hard disk should not be violent during these dozens of hours. Oh, otherwise. . 
In the end, at the same time that more and more personal network drives are being shut down, having a backup space of its own is already looming. The road to backup is a long way to go. Now my backup is divided into four places, 1.nas , 2.goflexhome, 3. Baidu cloud, 4. Blu-ray disc. The data is priceless. In fact, there is a Seagate 5t desktop hard disk not written in, there are some backup there. . .
