The Vida processor enhances image detail and quality with four-motion adaptive deinterlacing, multi-field tracking, 12-bit color processing and resolution enhancement. Converting standard definition sources to HD quality makes HD look more detailed. In addition, the device provides real-time clean-up of highly compressed video, reducing mosaic and mosquito noise from low-quality source compression distortion.

The IDT VHD1900 integrates two new IDT HQV technologies - Auto HQVTM and HQV StreamCleanTM - which automatically enhance incoming images and enable powerful source video cleanup to make the picture as clear and clean as possible.

Auto HQV can be free-adjusted to optimize the quality of content images from different sources or different quality content. It also analyzes video content to adaptively adjust image and noise processing parameters to optimize image quality and reduce distortion. HQV StreamClean includes three noise reduction technologies—adaptive mosquito, mosaic, and time noise—to selectively reduce these difficult image distortions.

IDT HQV's latest products also feature 14-bit internal processing, 12-bit color depth processing output, and 3D color gamut conversion for xvYCC processing. These features provide accurate conversion of regular and wide color gamut content to the display's native color gamut.
