California issued luminaire energy efficiency and harmful substances reduction method

On January 1, 2010, certain provisions of the California Lighting Energy Efficiency and Hazardous Substances Reduction Act came into effect. The main provisions of the law are focused on energy efficiency, with the goal of reducing energy consumption in California's indoor residential and public facilities lighting by at least 50% by 2018. Considering the risks of certain heavy metals and other hazardous substances, California now prohibits manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and online sellers from selling general-purpose lighting products that contain specific hazards that exceed concentration limits. As part of its hazardous waste, the Act requires manufacturers to reduce the level of toxicity in lighting products and to comply with the provisions of the European Union RoHS Directive on the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances.

As of January 1, 2010, Section 10.02 of the Act stipulates that California is prohibited from selling general-purpose lighting products whose hazardous substances exceed the specified concentration limits of the European Union (EU) RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC). General lighting products are defined in the Act to include “lamps, light bulbs, tubes or other electronic devices that provide indoor residential, indoor commercial and outdoor lighting functions”

1. Compact fluorescent lamp 2. Straight (straight) fluorescent lamp 3. Incandescent lamp (including halogen incandescent lamp)
4. Light-emitting diodes (LEDs)

Many lighting products are not part of the "general lighting products", including the following special lighting facilities: electrical lights, black lights, insect traps, color lights, infrared, left-hand threaded lights, navigation lights, factory lights, reflector lights, durable lights, Shatter-proof lights, signal service lights, silver bowl lights, spotlights, three-light bulbs and shock-resistant or vibration-resistant bulbs. High-output and very high-output linear fluorescent lamps with a diameter greater than 32 mm, preheated linear fluorescent lamps, high-intensity discharge lamps, compact fluorescent lamps longer than 9 inches, and state-regulated general-purpose incandescent lamps are not included. The Act also exempts lamps that provide special lighting for individuals with special needs.

Article 10.02 of the Act provides as follows:
As of January 1, 2010, California prohibits individuals who sell for the purpose of manufacturing general-purpose lighting products that contain the EU RoHS Directive to ban harmful substances.

Manufacturers that require general lighting products sold in California or supplied for sale must provide technical documentation in accordance with the DTSC (Toxic Substance Control) document to demonstrate that their general lighting products meet the requirements of the EU RoHS Directive.

Manufacturers of general lighting products are required to provide certificates to manufacturers of general lighting products in California that comply with the EU RoHS Directive. This certificate can be listed on a container or package.

Dc Vibration Motor should be stored ta a temperature of -15~65℃.

In case of storage outside this range,the grease on the gearhead area will become unable to function normally and the motor will become unable to start.
