The following is a circuit diagram of an A/D converter circuit for direct capacitive input based on INA321/322 design. This circuit is particularly useful in applications where high accuracy and fast response are required, such as in precision sensing or industrial automation systems.

As shown in the figure, the A/D converter uses INA321 or INA322 to directly drive capacitive loads at high frequencies. These devices provide a low output impedance, making them ideal for driving capacitive inputs without additional buffering. The input signal is first amplified by the INA321/322 and then fed directly into a 12-bit high-speed, low-power ADC such as the ADS7818 or ADS7822.

The internal architecture of the ADS7818 or ADS7822 features a capacitor array (CDAC) for digital-to-analog conversion, which makes it inherently suitable for capacitive input applications. This design ensures that the analog signal is accurately converted into a 12-bit digital output, maintaining signal integrity even under high-frequency conditions.
