Wuhan No. 2 Wire and Cable Company launched a 1 million yuan low-carbon technological transformation project at the Dongxihu Plant this year, establishing a 500- square-meter industrial circulating pool and a double-cycle energy-saving treatment tank for lubricating liquid, and recycling rainwater to make production water and industrial lubrication. The liquid can be recycled for zero emissions. One year can save 300,000 tons of tap water and 8000 kilograms of drawing oil, saving about 1 million yuan annually. The company has also established a parking shed for employees on the energy-saving recycling pool, achieving three goals at a time, realizing low-carbon, high-efficiency and energy-saving.
