Windows 7 has ruled one-third of the world's PC

Windows 7 has been released for nearly two years. During this period, its market share has been steadily increasing. According to data released by market research firm StatCounter, the market share of Windows 7 has exceeded 33%, which means that one out of every three computers in the world has Windows 7 installed.

Windows 7 completed the RTM version on July 22, 2009. In August 2010, its market share exceeded Vista. However, Windows 7 still needs to work harder, because it still cannot exceed Windows XP today. Although it has been available since 2001, XP still dominates the operating system and has a global market share of 45%.
