The STM32 Nucleo board NUCLEO-L053R8 will be used in conjunction with the STM32 F0 family of microcontrollers, enabling you to build your own prototypes for embedded applications. With its easy-to-use development platform, it can provide a fast solution for evaluation and development using any ARM® 32-bit Cortex®-M0+ RISC core STM32 L0 flash microcontroller in the LQFP64 package. The Nucleo development board connects to the ArduinoTM and will support most shielding.

In addition, the ST Morpho socket helps to increase the functionality of the Nucleo Open Development Platform (ODP). The ARM® mbed enable board features an integrated ST-LINK/V2 circuit debugger and programmer (SWIM/SWD), which will interface with the onboard STM32L053R8T6 (with the appropriate STM32 MCU) in your application. The STM32 L0 family of 32-bit Flash microcontrollers (MCUs) is based on the ARM CortexTM-M0+ core; a core specifically developed for embedded applications. STMicroelectronics' STM32 ARM CortexTM M processor benefits from Cortex-M0+ architecture enhancements including digital signal processing, real-time performance, low voltage and low power. The ST ARM® STM32 L0 ultra-low power series offers 32-bit performance and is ideal for small project or platform decisions with easy-to-use features.
