Microsoft today announced the Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 2 feature on the second day of the Lighting 2016 conference.
The first is to enhance the Continuum experience. Users can experience Continuum while the phone is sleeping. There is also a proximity connection function, which should allow the user's smartphone to be wirelessly connected to the cradle, without the user having to take the phone out of his pocket. The cradle will detect nearby phones and pair them with Bluetooth.
Another big feature of Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 2 is that users can finally customize the start menu. In addition, it will provide a more PC-like experience. Users can zoom application windows. In addition, through USB, administrators can batch update some of the device's business functions, making it much easier for company administrators to work.
Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 2 also has a new audit feature that will allow remote checking of SMS records, will allow more control over Wi-Fi Direct, and the ability to remotely reset the PIN. Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 2 supports 32-bit or even 64-bit ARM processors.
According to Microsoft's earlier disclosure, Redstone 3 will be launched in 2017, but the specific time and functions have not been specified. The small partners who want to update the system will have to wait.
