Application field

China has already stipulated that all vehicles on the expressway must be equipped with LED fog lamps. In the future, after the LED price gradually declines, other lamp modules will inevitably use high-brightness LEDs as the light source.

The main growth driver of LED in the automotive market is to replace the original indicator light and bulb lighting. If a car is replaced by LED, the internal and external LEDs need to use 200-300 LEDs.
In 2005, China's automobile production and sales increased by 20% over the previous year, and the total amount of production and sales exceeded 5.7 million, of which the production of cars reached more than 2.2 million. At the current LED level, it is expected that a car will require more than 300 LEDs.
It is generally believed that automotive LEDs will become the main market for LEDs in 3-5 years, and will generate an output value of about 1 billion yuan per year. The market will grow rapidly with the breakthrough of LED technology.
