NVIDIA GPU Market Share Drops Although NVIDIA's share price has recently performed well, and has won Apple's next-generation Macbook, Macbook Pro notebook GPU orders, the outside world also expects Tegra3 eventually have a good performance in the second half.

However, according to the brokerage FBR market research report, NVIDIA's basic GPU configuration market share has dropped from 17% to 15% in the past 18 months. The brokerage FBR market research report also showed that NVIDIA’s market share in scalable GPU configurations has also declined, from 45% to 41%.

The brokerage FBR market research report believes that if Intel takes away 10% of the market share from the independent GPU market, it will cause NVIDIA losses of 200 million U.S. dollars.
