Program overview
Freescale's 5 W multi-coil transmitter reference platform is specifically designed for automotive wireless charging applications. At the heart of the design is the Freescale MWCT1003AVLH Transmitter Controller IC. The controller IC manages and performs all of the control functions required to implement a wireless charging transmitter solution. The solution provides a high-performance wireless charging system that also takes into account the complex working environment of the car. The entire platform uses automotive-grade components and takes into account other important automotive features to ensure seamless integration.
The design complies with the latest Qi specification of the Wireless Charging Alliance (WPC) and has been certified by the WPC-A13 transmitter. Like all Freescale wireless charging solutions, this reference platform supports other coil types defined by WPC.
